Responsible in the administration of the company’s and statutory benefits. Provides support to the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
Ensures accuracy and management of employee records. Prepares reports needed monthly, and as requested. Answers employee queries and concerns on C&B items.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Effective and timely delivery of government statutory benefits such as the SSS, Pag-Ibig and Philhealth.
Administers company related benefits such as the HMO, life insurance, car loan, multi-purpose loan, bank loans, car insurance, final pay processing, etc.
Ensures that all benefits administered are consistent to their corresponding processes, status, and level and on certain occasion, escalates special cases to the HR Leaders for further evaluation and approval.
Work / liases with brokers, benefit vendors and government contacts.
Handle the update and maintenance of employee records in the Oracle HCM and 201 folder. Initiate the implementation / documentation of records of employee movement such as promotion, regularization, merit increase / salary adjustments, change in organization, change in cost center, change in position title and change in Manager.
Responsible in ensuring that all employee queries pertaining to compensation and benefits are answered in a timely manner.
Work with Payroll on matters related to salary and benefits implementation and action.
Work with the L&D team to ensure proper safekeeping of the APR in the 201 folder.
Update and monitor the benefits metrics. Prepares the data for the HR report and provides insights and recommendations on areas that need improvement.
Co-conduct of the end-user training / orientations on processes and procedures related to company provided benefits.
Implement and monitor the Annual Physical Examination (APE) by ensuring there is an effective vendor, and proper Clinic implementation.
Update of the Benefit SharePoint website and manages the resource site.
Ensure proper handling of employee information abiding with the Data Privacy Law.
Provide feedback to C&B Manager / HR Director concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
OTHER FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support in compensation activities such as job evaluation / grading, review of job offers, benchmarking, market survey completion, market survey results analysis.
Support to the researching of the best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraised with the technological advancements and latest government circulars related to benefits.
Support during benefit audit as requested. Support in the review of C&B policies from time to time. Support in the renewal of the annual contracts with the vendors including collaboration with Compliance and HR reviewers.
Design and implement simple automation projects for digital C&B processes using technology tools like the office apps. Can think creatively and provide innovative suggestions and solutions to improve process effectiveness and / or efficiency and overall solution design.
Other tasks / initiatives that are assigned from time to time.
At least 3-5 years work experience in HR field. Familiarity with government statutory benefits is favorable. Able connect to people, savvy, and patient in dealing with everyday employee’s queries and concerns.
Good communication skills both oral and written is a must. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to details Strong time management skills Dynamic person with high focus on results and meeting deadlines.
Expert in MS Office Skills specifically in PowerPoint and Excel functions. Know-how in Oracle HRIS and SharePoint is a must.
