The AR Quality Control Representative (QC) ensures the accurate resolution of claims in the Accounts Receivable Department by monitoring the visits worked by the AR representative in the PM system for any task and level of the AR Pyramid.

The AR Quality Control Representative (QC) is responsible for assessing the quality of steps taken, review done and documentation, of our representatives who deal with our clients and practices.

He will assist in developing, creating, and implementing call center quality processes and procedures; as well as making recommendations for process improvements and enhance the overall customer's experience.

They assist in these roles by :

  • Performs quality check on processed visits using the QC checklist
  • Use the QC tool in Maxtrack to report all errors found
  • Provides actionable data to the teams and the department as needed
  • Coordinates and facilitates calibration sessions with POCs and SMEs or Team Leaders
  • Provides feedback to AR Team Leaders and Managers
  • Prepares and analyzes quality reports for department review
  • Identify error trends, improvement opportunities and risk potentials
  • Reports any HIPAA related violations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Outstanding dedication to providing exceptional quality and customer care
  • Solid time management, detail-oriented and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Highly skilled in using computer applications for AR or Practice Management systems
  • In-depth understanding of Revenue Cycle Management and Accounts Receivable
  • Must have a College degree; degrees and courses related to Medical Field is a plus
  • Previous experience in a QC or QA role is preferred
  • Must be a Level 2 skilled or certified AR Representative
  • Previous call center experience related to Medical Accounts and Programs is a plus
  • No records of disciplinary action including issues in attendance and tardiness
