A.Position : One (1) Social Welfare Officer III

Place of Assignment : Regional Juvenile Justice Welfare Committee (RJJWC)

Salary Grade : 18

Item Number : OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-279-2004

Compensation : Php 31,351.00

B. Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

Job Summary :

The Social Welfare Officer III shall be the focal person of the RJJWC in the region, providing assistance and support to the RJJWC in performing is mandate, duties and functions, in accordance with RA 9344 as amended and its IRR.

He / she oversees the implementation of programs, projects and activities identifies in the RJJWC work and financial plan.

He / she likewise coordinates with the RJJWC member agencies, with other partners and stakeholders at the LGU levels, and with the National Secretariat.

Primary Functions :

  • vProvide coordinating, monitoring and technical assistance to the Provincial / City / Municipality counterpart relative to their function to ensure implementation of the law at the regional and local level;
  • vPerform advocacy functions;
  • vPrepare the Quarterly, Semestral, Annual and other Reports (as may be determined by the JJWC) for the RJJWC to be submitted to the JJWC National Secretariat;
  • vPrepare the Work and Financial Plan of the RJJWC to be submitted to the JJWC National Secretarial;
  • vRegularly coordinate and consult with the National Secretariat

    vPerform such other functions and tasks, as may be determined by the RJJWC and the JJWC; and

    vInitiate / coordinate research / study on the situation / incidence of CICL.
