We are looking for a Brand Acquisition Supervisor to join our team. He / She will focus on expanding acquisition of new brands and categories.
The position will be in either in work-from-home work arrangement or will need to report to our office in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) depending on business needs.
Responsibilities :
Operates as business manager and Marketplace growth driver
Responsible for acquiring new sellers / brand partners / suppliers in line with the assortment strategy for Zalora and expands the product assortment by bringing in exciting new brands to the platform
Can speak knowledgeably about ZALORA’s company profile, objectives, business models, best-in-class customer experience, seller strategies and market trends
Possesses strong commercial / sales / business development background and experience, as well as excellent time management and organizational skills
Uses clear customer focus to identify opportunities for improvements / expansion to the customer experience with ZALORA
Aligns with the Commercial stakeholders on key brands / sellers while ensuring that the customer is offered a well-rounded brand representation across all product areas from ZALORA
Actively owns (where applicable) and contributes to brand acquisition strategy by analyzing the market and keeping up with the trends
Conducts offline and online competitor benchmarking to assess ranges and identify assortment opportunities and delivers clear analysis to understand customer, pricing and product / brand positioning
Demonstrates great knowledge of the Philippine market, Filipino shopping habits, competitors, industry trends, and international fashion and lifestyle trends
Identifies potential brand partners and sales opportunities that come with it (lead generation)
Where applicable and appropriate, utilises sourcing opportunities via suppliers / brands, sourcing hubs and shows / exhibitions where necessary
Demonstrates effective sales techniques, communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills. Leads new contract negotiations ensuring that favourable / profitable commercial terms are secured.
Responsible for updating and managing the acquisition pipeline and database throughout the brand / seller acquisition journey
Works hand in hand with the Onboarding Manager to push sellers to go live within the minimum lead time required and actively manages the acquisition pipeline from lead generation to pitch meetings to contract signing and until handed over to Onboarding
Monitors and meets Acquisition KPIs. Any risk to KPI or OKR achievement should be raised to the Head of Business Development in a timely manner
Demonstrates strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Develops and Executes the Seller Acquisition strategy
Is fully aware of legal due diligence requirements and gathers seller requirements in order to support completion for "Go-Live"
Influences sellers to build a cohesive product range by sharing recommendations on target market, price points, styles, etc.
so that it is credible to the customer
Ensures supplier / brand clearly understands the Zalora customer’s needs as well as the platform’s assortment strategy, and obtains the supplier’s input where appropriate
Adheres to divisional strategies to ensure cohesive statement is maintained and that ZALORA is represented as an online fashion and lifestyle destination
Together with the Commercial Director and Business Development team, builds and develops onboarding strategies in order to reduce onboarding lead time and speed up go-live
