We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR National Household Targeting Office is inviting applicants for the vacant position with details as follows :

A.Position : One (1) Statistician II

Salary Grade : 15

Item Number : Contractual

Compensation : Php 24, 887.00

B. Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience

Eligibility : Civil Service Professional / Second Level eligibility

D. Job Summary :

Under general supervision, assists in the development of statistical classification systems and procedures to serve as basis in prescribing standards for uniform methods employed and limitation; does related work.

Primary Functions :

  • vStudies and devises methods and techniques to obtain statistical survey;
  • vAnalyzes available statistical materials relative to their coverage, methods employed and limitations;
  • vEvaluates results and statistical surveys and similar inquiries for accuracy, consistency and conformity to standards;
  • vReviews work of statistical aide;
  • vRecruits and trains staff for survey interview;
  • vClassifies and condenses statistical information and prepares data in textual and tabular forms;
  • vMakes analysis of procedure and yearly statistical reports

    vPerforms other tasks that may be assigned

  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :
