RingCentral Information Technology organization is looking for a seasoned Systems Administrator with a strong background in Client Endpoint Management.
The position requires experience in administration of client endpoints running Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android Operating Systems.
The ideal candidate possesses the technical expertise to solve complex challenges while balancing business objectives, user experience, and supportability.
Responsibilities :
In depth understanding of the responsibilities
Maintain availability of provisioning infrastructure and resolve bottlenecks that impact provisioning service performance and stability
Upkeep image baseline configuration, security stack heath, and patch levels
Perform regular application and OS updates
Create and enhance operational documentations
Seek and resolve recurring Client Endpoint issues that impacts IT Support partners
Drive IT Support Enablement via feedback loop, brownbags, and KB transition enhancements
Skills Qualification
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with both technical and non-technical audiences
4+ years of experience in systems administration of both bare metal and virtual platforms
Strong Windows and macOS architecture knowledge including native security management
Proficiency in directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP
Proficiency in Network fundamentals such as TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP
Experience with endpoint security : Full Disk Encryption, Firewall, Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware, Application Allow / Block Listing, Configuration & Patch Management
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise with Endpoint Management Tools : JAMF, BigFix, Tanium, Workspace One, Puppet, Centrify
Proficiency in Scripting : Bash, Powershell, Python
Proficiency in monolithic imaging, provisioning, and concepts of Zero Touch (DEP, ABM, AutoPilot)
Experience with Agile methodologies and principles. Preferably Scrum / Kanban
Experience in deployment to and supporting AWS services leveraging Lambda, SQS, ECS, CloudWatch, EC2, Terraform, Cloudformation
Experience with version control (git preferred)
Experience in building applications, libraries, and frameworks in Python, Ruby, Swift, or Go
