Role description :

Execution of Strategic Pursuits according to Arcadis Way, higher quality of bids with more consistency.

To professionalize the bidding process, improve the quality and consistency of proposals with the purpose of increasing our win rate.

Role accountabilities :

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Assisting in the operationalization of the Arcadis strategy to Strategic Pursuits.
  • Assisting regional / country implementation teams in the change and / or implementation of the supporting processes (OSC, MORE-sessions, Tier 1 Bid Team, WINrooms, Pursuit Boards), main focus is Strategic Pursuits across EMU (Europe, Middle East, UK).
  • Supporting in the management of quality and volume of Strategic Pursuits to assist the focus on 250 Strategic Pursuits
  • Whenever called for, assisting on Pursuit Committees, including but not limited to helping bid teams by providing information, filling out Pursuit Board forms, organizing meetings, creating pursuit descriptions for informing purposes and making minutes of the meetings.
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with professional management, technical, operations, finance, and client development towards fulfilment of the Strategic Pursuits programme.
  • Developing guidance and / or templates to staff to support the business.
  • Data analysis on pursuits and related information
  • Has a high conceptual ability steering to have focus on the client while allowing for a harmonized process.
  • Manage workload and priorities in a challenging, fast paced, and energizing environment to consistently meet multiple deadlines while providing high-quality output.
  • Other ad hoc duties.
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelors degree (Business Administration, Engineering or similar)
  • Minimum 5 years work experience, 3 years in business development preferably with good exposure in the bidding process
  • Experience working at an Architectural / Engineering / Construction / Consulting firm is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience coordinating, organizing and producing documents with high precision in a fast-paced environment, working with top level professionals
  • Experience working with multiple nationalities
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Problem solving mentality by applying analytic, pragmatic and result-driven thinking
