JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Neural & Behavioral Sciences Department at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA., is looking for an experienced scientist with expertise in computational analysis on high-resolution 3D images.
She / he is expected to work on a NIH funded project that will examine highly detailed 3D organization of neurovasculature in the mouse brain.
We are looking for someone who has extensive research experience in mathematical and computational analysis of brain imaging dataset.
Extensive computer skills including matlab and python coding are required as well as strong writing skill for manuscripts.
Ability to build high-end computers and other computing hardware is big plus. Expertise on computational modeling and fluid dynamics is also highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications : PhD or equivalent degree in neuroscience or related discipline with more than 4-5 years of postdoctoral experience
This is a fixed term appointment funded for one year from date of hire.
