Position Summary :

The Global Markets Entity Identifier (GMEI) Utility Team Lead will provide day to day supervision to staff within their team and across the broader department, acting as a central point of contact for team members and serves as a subject matter expert.

As the Team Lead, you are accountable for ensuring that operational procedures are followed, customer service and productivity standards are met, and that fundamental business and interpersonal skills are adopted amongst staff.

The Team Lead is also responsible for all administrative activities, audit, risk management, regulatory and compliance related duties at the appropriate level.

As a subject matter expert the GMEI Team Lead participates in short and long term projects and serves as the go to person for the complex operational problems, assists with training material when needed and works with other Team Leads to ensure this target driven environment has consistent high data quality output across the department

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Determine the general division of workload, delegate, review, monitor and take appropriate action to ensure that the work is progressing in a timely manner through to output
  • Ensure that communications are cascaded to team members in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
  • Striving to exceed performance targets; monitor and review team member performance for quality and productivity, communicating current statistics and taking performance management actions to avoid negative impacts to operational targets / client deliveries, highlighting any concerns to the Team Manager
  • Mediate issues within the team, escalating as and when to the Team Manager
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge and GMEI rules / processes to ensure accurate data validation, recommending work process improvements and may serve on process improvement teams to act as SME
  • Review, and oversee Customer Service Helpdesk queries are delivered in a professional and timely manner following the agreed OLA, ensuring appropriate tracking
  • Close collaboration with colleagues and management team globally
  • On a daily basis, provide administrative support to the team
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
