Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team in Manila office.
Job purpose
Undertaking concept planning, assessment and design of transport infrastructure including roads, bus and rail stations / terminals, as well as master plan developments
Conducting traffic impact analysis for new developments including circulation and accessibility schemes
Managing / planning traffic and infrastructure surveys
Contributing to delivering proposals and presentations to potential clients and supporting the proposal process with support from colleagues
Liaising directly with clients and ensuring quality input to client, including quality control / assurance of local staff inputs
Providing timely and quality technical advice to clients and responding to client requirements
Supervising staff and delivering projects on time and to budget, with support from the Manila Transport Team and oversight / guidance from regional colleagues in the Hong Kong Transport Team
Liaising and meeting with clients in Philippines and possible work regionally
Qualifications
Degree in Transport Planning / Engineering or Civil Engineering or Urban Planning or related discipline; post graduate studies will be an advantage
Possess relevant professional license in Philippines
6-10+ years of experience managing traffic impact assessments / temporary traffic schemes / traffic engineering design / transport planning / transport modelling / public transport operations for municipalities, transport operators, and comprehensive developments ()
Familiarity with traffic engineering and transport planning practices in Philippines
Excellent writing, presentation skills, and analytical skills, with experience working directly with clients on projects and proposals
Marketing and business development experience an advantage
Out-going, self-confident, self-motivated, and adaptable, with strong inter-personal communication skills
Willingness to travel when necessary within the region
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Tagalog
