Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform analysis of IBS / Intercompany accounts and prepare month-end account reconciliations in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Investigate and explain any unreconciled items and prepare action plans to correct the differences noted.
  • Analyze and Reconcile Vendor Special items and ensure aging items has action plans
  • Helps the IBS team Leader in reviewing all Account Reconciliation to improve quality on review
  • Perform all daily IBS / Intercompany tasks in compliance with accounting policies (with accuracy and on timely basis) such as : Processing of inbound cables (i.
  • e. receiving IBS / Intercompany data from Head Office) Processing of outbound cables (i.e. sending IBS / Intercompany data to Head Office) Liaise with IBS associates from other GY locations in terms of obtaining IBS / Intercompany related documents (e.

    g. invoices) and addressing inquiries

  • Perform all month-end IBS / Intercompany closing activities in compliance with accounting policies (with accuracy and focus on timely delivery of results) such as : Clearing of open-items in IBS / Intercompany accounts Revaluation and Reclassification Posting of month-end entries
  • Liaise with Intercompany associates from other GY locations in terms of obtaining Intercompany related documents (e.g.
  • invoices) and addressing inquiries

  • Act as IBS Subject Matter Expert act as universal back-up of the cluster
  • Handles IBS Payment Forecast and Variance Analysis
  • Process Manual Uploads posted directly in consolidated books
  • Monitor Manual adjustments of the cluster to ensure there will be no OOB during consolidation
  • Prepare and submit periodic financial and regulatory reports
  • Assist and provide controllers, accounting management and other members of accounting team with accurate financial information.
  • Perform reporting function to key stakeholders and management. Responsible for the root cause analysis for gaps from actual team performance and set KPI / SLA.

  • Update the standard operating procedure (SOP) regularly or as the need arises and ensure that the details in the SOP are updated and accurate
  • Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Accountancy
  • With 4 years experience, preferably in intercompany accounting, or a Senior Bookkeeper with relevant qualifications
  • Previous exposure to a work environment requiring attention to detail, working to deadlines and handling customer and / or vendor queries
  • Knowledgeable in General Ledger journals and reconciliations of intercompany balances
  • Knowledge of SAP system (highly desirable) and Microsoft PC applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong English skills to provide accounting support to key stakeholders within the business
  • Excellent time management and work evaluation skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with team members from different geographical locations
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Flexible, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn
  • Must be willing to work on a mid-shift schedule
