Under the direction of the IT Manager, this role as a Unified Communications Engineer for SolarWinds will be collaborating with a global team of engineers, providing end to end management, maintenance, and support of the UC Infrastructure.
Proactive support for all relevant UC infrastructure components across the entire portfolio
Timely incident troubleshooting, escalation, and facilitation
Participation of UC infrastructure projects at a global scale.
Monitoring of performance to include capacity, reliability, maintainability, and availability of resources.
Implementation of mechanisms to configure, operate, manage, provision and account for improving business voice and video resources.
Partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand and support their evolving needs
Follow industry best practices, evaluate risk, upgrade, and perform regular patch management.
Perform regular tests within our infrastructure to ensure redundancy, resiliency, and integrity of systems and services.
Technical Experience :
Cisco Unified Communication Manager / Unity
Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise
Scripting in Intelligent Contact Management with VXML
Jabber, Finesse, database analysis
Video Units such as WebEx Room Kits
Voice Gateways, routers, and unified border elements
Collaboration Tools such as MS Teams and WebEx
Other skills :
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Drive for operational excellence, customer focus and user experience
Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and collaboration skills
Solid experience with documentation, standard operating procedures, and polices aligned with infrastructure lifecycle management
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
