S ummary of role :
This Leadership role is responsible for developing and winning new business, significantly growing existing customers, be a strong team leader, and has an understanding of the Philippine Hospital market through strategic market access leadership.
People management responsibilities
Oversight role for Business Leaders, managing different therapy areas under the Janssen franchise portfolios
Authority to direct appropriate business unit sector resources
Responsible for delivery of total pharmaceutical sales and marketing through the development and drive of an end-to-end business strategy.
Support sales and marketing teams through proactive and dynamic account management and implementation of initiatives.
Provides coaching, mentoring and leadership for the day-to-day operation of sales and marketing teams, while maintaining focus on strategic goals.
Actively seeks out new business opportunities within existing and new customers covering the Pharmaceutical sector.
Identifies potential strategic customer partnerships and alliances.
Develops a positive culture across sales & marketing through excellent communication and promoting openness and engagement at all levels.
Lead sales approaches that evolve with changing customer needs or healthcare environment, payer model or other major drivers.
Establish strategic partnering relationships with key account, commercial excellence, medical affairs and external stakeholders in order to impact business and shape local markets.
Lead compliant business practices and nurture this behavior in the team.
Responsible for market access team and strategies to gain and maintain formulary access for company’s products for broader access including :
a. Work with cross functional teams to develop market access strategies
b. Define and implement access plans in accordance with affiliate priorities & business goals
c. Establish key relationships within targeted stakeholders in order to identify and address customer explicit needs and to influence customer decision processes
d. Implement and deliver product value propositions and interventions to meet / exceed customer needs
e. Demonstrate competence in the use of business analytics to increase access of company products
f. Be the internal expert on local Health Care Systems and their evolutions
g. Be the channel of the voice of the payer : ensure payer customer insights are well communicated internally
This role requires :
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in management, marketing or any related course
Has over 13 to 20 years of experience in Marketing and Sales
Has a minimum of around 4-5 years of Leadership experience, preference of executive leadership
Has a in depth understanding of the Pharmaceutical business and its regulations
Has solid background in any of the following therapeutic areas is a must
