SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Project Design Team Lead will manage a team of Project Design Engineers and execute on a strategic level a variety of activities relevant to design operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of Design Engineers and be accountable for the timely and quality completion of the team’s deliverables.
Drive impactful initiatives that will significantly improve customer experience
Drive team performance through regular engagement, coaching and mentoring, task delegation for competency and critical skills development, keeping track of individual scorecards
Possess in-depth knowledge of the Residential solar business processes and customers
Review and approve changes on standard operating procedures
Create and utilize reports and dashboards within Salesforce and Qlik Sense for data analytics
Lead discussions with cross-functional groups for process alignment and escalations
Comply with company policies and job expectations, drive compliance in the team
Be open to change, creative, optimistic, and set the example for team culture
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Knowledgeable in Residential Project Design processes
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce
Interpersonal skills ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment
Decision-making skills ability to assess risks and make informed decisions
Analytical skills ability to analyze data and trends effectively
People management skills ability to guide, coach, mentor, resolve conflict, manage team performance
Stakeholder management skills ability to organize, coordinate, improve relational interactions with stakeholders
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Able to work upright and stationary and / or standing for working hours
Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable method
Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
Able to work in the nightshift, weekends, and holidays
