Operating hours : While actual hours will depend on the US team that the role will be supporting, the hours will fall within the Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST hours of the US teams this may change based on business requirement.
Core Responsibilities :
Manage daily transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines and in accordance with firm and business policies and procedures
Proactively manage and monitor the IPB Client Service Tax Support mailbox and assist Client Service Teams answering tax queries or / and liaising with Tax Teams for assistance, appointing Client Service Teams to the right team to contact without giving tax advice
Support Tax Solicitation (Review, Prefills, send solicitation and Tax Tickets)
Act as coordinator between Tax Operations and Client Service Teams
Assist with research, follow-up and issue resolution through effective interaction with Client Service and operations teams in a timely and professional manner
Funds / wire transfer processing (as required)
Escalation of issues for any urgent matters or assistance
Participate in Service-related projects / priorities as needed
Qualifications :
1-3 years experience in the Financial Services and / or Private Banking industry
BA / BS preferred or equivalent work experience
Highly organized, attentive to details, excellent follow up habits
Service-Oriented
Effective communicator (both orally and written)
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team with the ability to work well with multiple Client Service teams and other team members
High level of personal initiative, and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing business priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), general comfort level with Internet / Intranet usage and ability to learn proprietary software and databases
Candidate must be fluent in English and in one or multiple of the following European languages : Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French.
