Job Description :

Objective of function Payments Investigations Department is responsible for providing support to our Financial Institutions (FI) and non-

FI clients and dealing with complaints and queries from these clients with respect to (but not limited to) international payments.

The following are your responsibilities but not limited to :

  • To manage the allocation of files and set priorities for the team, in line with the set Service Level Agreements;
  • To coach and guide operations officers in their activities;
  • To provide instructions to update Work Place Instructions, based on feedback of the team and own experience, to ensure they are kept up to date;
  • To carry out interventions with respect to FI electronic payments that have been incorrectly supplied;
  • To create and follow up files for incoming payments that could not be executed;
  • To handle and analyze complaints and enquiries of FI clients with respect to international payments;
  • To proactively provide recommendations in order to reduce the number of payments not processed automatically and improve quality with the aim of reducing the number of complaints;
  • To actively cooperate with other divisions within the Payments Department to allocate complaints and prevent them from arising;
  • To formulate proposals for improvement;
  • To ensure compliance with the rules and procedures that are prescribed by Risk and Compliance.

  • To actively take part in operational and service management;
  • Ensure effective management of a team composed of Junior and Senior Processors including coaching sessions, performance reviews, and any other people management-related activities;
  • Job Qualification

    5-10 years lead experience

    Have handled 12 people and above

    With exposure in international and cross cultural collaboration

    Responsible for 20-30% production work and for directly supervising the work of operational staff.

    Forms the link between the team and management and is accountable for team plans, resource allocation and work processes and procedures.

    Ensures compliance with the rules and procedures that are prescribed by Risk and Compliance.

    Has an active role in regular internal and external audits.

    Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional targets and objectives.

    Acts as a coach for the team members and is responsible for the development of the team. Is a key driver for optimizing the processes in the team and operations management.

    Has a proven proficient level of the processes and products and understands the process environment to ensure maximum efficiency.

    Will receive guidance and direction from a (assistant) Vice President. Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that.

    Capable to act as POC when the (assistant) Vice President is absent.
