Purpose : The Project Manager will have the primary responsibility to Manage AMI project during pre and post- project startup process.
Also, will be responsible to manage direct communication and relationship with the customer key project contacts in order to have successful deployment.
Essential Functions : Serve as POC for all project deployment, implementation with the client.Manage during Project Life Cycle along with customer.
Serve as main liaison between Aclara and customer.Serve as main liaison with partners of the project.Effectively mitigate project risks and create opportunities for project execution enhancements and cost reductions.
Ensure project documentation is kept up to date.Provide reports on projects status to both customer and Aclara Management.
Have a full understanding of Aclara smart meters and AMI / DA.Coordinate project support activities.Coordinate and guide recurrent meetings with customer.
Coordinate requirements gathering process for Aclara order process.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Required : Minimum of a BS Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years within the Utility or related industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer facing project management, and good presence in front of customers.Previous experience working on a team with engineers, logistics, partners and customers, influencing cross-
functional teamsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability.
Preferred : MBA preferredPhysical Demands : Travel activity is expected to be up to 50% but may vary at times.
