Job description

You will have responsibility for the security, maintenance, Health and Safety, services of work facilities and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

In addition, you will also have responsibility for managing the relationship with the Building Landlords facilities team ensuring full compliance against our contractual requirements.

You will assist with managing and participate in the general administration within the facilities team in planning essential services such as security, maintenance, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.

You will need to ensure that protocols are put in place in relation to the ongoing management of the COVID pandemic. This will include building out processes and policies around Employee Well-being, ensuring all government advice and measures are assessed and where relevant implemented, consider all measures to ensure ongoing safety to staff and visitors including a localized Track and Trace methodology.


Background experience :

  • Solid experience in a Facilities Management leadership role
  • Education / Professional Qualifications (relevant to industry)
  • Certified in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
  • Experience in managing complex contracts and budgets
  • Company and or Financial market awareness
  • Able to take instruction
  • Work to agreed formats and standards
  • Work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Raise issues relevant to assigned tasks
  • Be able to work within any area of the department as dictated by current workloads
  • To assist in any one off projects as requested by line manager
  • Technical Skills :

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite including word, excel, outlook, sharepoint, etc
  • Computer / program knowledge :

  • Online document repository system / archiving system
  • Company, product and market knowledge :

  • Working knowledge of local legislation as applied to Health & Safety at Work
  • Management and leadership
  • Ideally some experience in providing training but not essential and at least 3 years in a supervisory role with experience in dealing with staff at all levels
