Position Overview :

The Sourcing Specialist will be part of a global team responsible for formulating and implementing the Thomson Reuters content vendor relationship strategy that drives improvement of the quality and productivity of the businesses that create and deliver Thomson Reuters world-

class content and products. The successful candidate is collaborative and enjoys working with a global team in a dynamic and changing global business environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist negotiations of service, terms and pricing
  • Communicate with internal customers, user departments and external partners to facilitate critical business processes
  • Ensure that purchases and quality of products and services adhere to contract terms and conditions
  • Monitor, analyze and execute strategies to secure the best possible process, cost and service
  • Assist in the sourcing of new suppliers
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree holder; at least 4 years related work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to derive insights and actionable intelligence from data to help the business make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a global team in a dynamic and changing global business environment
  • A strong team player who is comfortable performing troubleshooting and independently resolving both routine and non-routine issues
