Job Responsibilities :
â¢ Troubleshoot and provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to associates and clients.
â¢ Troubleshoot system problems such as mail delivery issues, routing issues, server issues
â¢ Build scalable processes and improve service delivery systems within our organization
â¢ Active Directory modification and resolution of issues
â¢ Responding to and resolving issues raised by our monitoring system.
â¢ Logically following a troubleshooting process and finding resolution using online resources.
â¢ Installing, configuring and troubleshooting third party application issues
Technical Skills :
â¢ Working knowledge in areas of network management and administration including systemconfiguration, setup, troubleshooting, planning, designing and implementation.
proper records maintenance andstorage for local and distributed environments.
â¢ Working knowledge of Microsoft OS : 2008 / Win 7, Apple OSX, Microsoft Office, VPN & RemoteAccess.
â¢ Knowledge of Tier 1 â Tier 3 Storage Systems such as DAS, NAS and SAN, including Dell StorageSolutions such as Equallogic and Compellent.
â¢ Experience with Remote Desktop Solutions (Citrix XenApp, RDS and VMWare View).
â¢ Knowledge of Networking : Routing, Firewalls and Switching with Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet.
â¢ Preferred but not required : Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux; shell scripting, cron processes, initscripts, mount tables, rpms, permissions and general trouble shooting.
â¢ A deep conceptual understanding of Windows Server Systems and Virtualization
â¢ 4 year degree or tech certificate and 2 years of technical support experience OR comparable trainingwith 3 years technical support experience
â¢ Advance Active Directory Skills (If your knowledge of active directory extends to user modifications,please do not apply)
â¢ A mature approach to working independently and a personable attitude to working in a teamenvironment
â¢ Strong English verbal and written communication skills required, including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-
technical terms to clients and staff
