Job Description 1.Lead and supervise the job and all the undertakings of the maintenance personnel. 2.Ensures that all service calls are promptly and properly attended at all times.
Machines, equipments and facilities downtime are kept within the set standard time limit for repair or replacement. 3.Responsible for the supervision of the job being performed by contracted or outside service provider for the maintenance and / or repair of company machines, equipments and / or facilities.
4.Help minimize the energy consumption / expense of the company through operations review and recommend cost reduction or saving programs or for the elimination of unnecessary machines, equipment or any other unproductive power consuming process.
5.Study thoroughly, discuss and justify the advantages and disadvantages if machine, equipment or its parts are to be repaired or replaced.
6.Identify and report all work hazards and recommend corrective actions to ensure work areas, machines, equipments are safe and free from harm.
7.Monitor and ensure that maintenance cost are kept at minimum level by assisting in the implementation of cost reduction programs, recommend better quality spare parts at a minimum cost and quality workmanship to reduce recalls.
8.Plan and conduct the timely and effective preventive maintenance programs to avoid and / or minimize machine and facilities breakdown.
9.Regularly conduct building inspection to check condition of facilities, machines, equipments and immediately report any non-
compliance to the established standards or regulations of PEZA, DENR, DILG, FCIE and other government and / or accredited regulating agencies.
10.Plan and recommend with the immediate superior programs, process modification and action plans that will help the section improve and be more efficient in the delivery of maintenance services and see to it that these are monitored and complied at all times.
11.Conducts job coaching and counselling to employees under supervision for them to gain additional knowledge and skills and motivate them towards higher level of performance and advancement at work.
12.Regularly update oneself with the necessary and vital information on new or modified standards, regulations, current practices and programs of the assigned jobs through research, self -
study and benchmarking. 13.Shall monitor power consumption, water consumption, LPG, chemical and solid waste consumption and electronics equipments.
14.Shall be responsible for EHS Inspection & Reporting , 15.Shall monitor implementation of electrical checklist 16.Shall update evacuation map if there will be any revision.
17. Shall perform duties and responsibilities of Safety Officer such as new employees’ orientation on safety policies, programs and procedures and submit immediate accident report with corrective action and suggest preventive action plan to attain zero accident in the company.
18.Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications 1.Licensed Electrical Engineer, preferably certified Safety Officer.
2.With experience in manufacturing preferably in a garment manufacturing set up.
3.Computer literate, with excellent communication skills.
