Description

Delivering financial analysis that enhances decision making and providing the view regarding performance and opportunities that exist for further investigation and / or improvements by FPA’s and commercial team.

Collaborate with Financial Accounting Risk Management teams to identify business optimization opportunities (e.g. EBITDA, working capital deployed) and also with FP&A who will seek improvements and close gaps.

This position provides analyzed information in a structured way, assessing historic & current business performance, highlighting areas of opportunity for the FP&A team who will prioritize and build action plans.

This team is tasked with leading management reporting and analysis which may include forecasting / commentary, product profitability analysis and cost analysis as examples.

Management Reporting and DecisionSupport

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial andmanagement reporting and analysis of business performance (KPIs, Metrics). Partner effectively with FP&A forreporting and data needs, defining which performance indicators will be neededto explain / measure business performance and the frequency design and deliverthe report with the right level of analysis.
  • Ensure optimization and standardization ofmanagement reporting across the country.
  • Supports and implements process simplificationand enhancements to standardize and improve business information (e.g.development of standardized and consistent dashboard reporting)
  • Provides input and identifies opportunities toimprove data integrity and usefulness for effective management reporting
  • Improve reporting through leveraging technology(Tableau, Power BI)
  • Understand legacy systems and develop a strong managementinformation system / process.
  • Able to continuously improve the level ofmanagement reporting within the team.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from FP&Acommercial teams as per the business needs.
  • Responds to moderately complex ad-hoc requestswith constructive and high quality solutions.
  • Business Partnership :

  • Provide commentary and initial analysis andinterpretation of the results to the business.
  • Work closely with the A&R, FRM and FP&Ateam to achieve finance objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Support a culture of intellectual curiosity andcontinuous leaning to meet self and team individual development goals
  • Support the transition of the organization tothe end state organization
  • Keep updated to improvements in the forled
  • This position is based in BGC Office
  • Occasionally travel as business required
  • Critical ability to deal with large level of ambiguity and large scalechange

    Qualifications

    Minimum Required Qualifications

  • CPA or Business Management or Management Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics including demonstrated ability for use of BI tools
  • Broad / diverse commercial knowledge
  • Proven accounting / finance professional with strong analytical skills
  • Highly effective people skills able to lead by example and motivate for high performance
  • Experience leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making
  • Demonstrated commitment to Internal Controls
  • Ability to communicate and use visualization tools (e.g. dashboards) to tell the story
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • English proficiency
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting designation
  • Understanding and experience working with JDE, NIS, SAP, and Skype for Business
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with multiple businesses and / or international business experience (Food Feeding and Agriculture business are the preferable)
  • Demonstrated ability to support a team culture of continuous improvement, process optimization, and intellectual curiosity
