Job Description

This opportunity is for a new college graduate of Electronics Engineering. The successful candidate will join the 8-bit Microcontrollers (MCU8) Engineering Team as Test and / or Validation Engineer.

Responsibilities include :

Develop and execute application bench validation for the new 8- bit microcontroller devices and families.

Contribute to develop Automated Validation System that will improve the efficiency, repeatability and test quality of application bench validation.

Contribute to test program development, characterization and qualification of microcontroller products.

Develop training material and provide classroom lectures for other Microchip employees or customers.

Provide technical support to internal and external customers.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering.

Familiarity in C, C#, Python and Assembly languages.

Demonstrable knowledge in analog and digital circuit design theory and debugging.

Practical lab experience oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.

Knowledgeable with firmware development for microcontroller based embedded system using PIC or AVR microcontroller is a plus.

Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
