At gTech’s Users and Products team (gUP), our mission is to help users get the most out of Google. We represent the voice of Google's users and many of our partners globally, sharing insights with the larger Google organization to enable exceptional customer and product experiences.

gUP builds innovative solutions that take user experience and engagement with Google to the next level, supporting users across products, countries, cultures, incomes, and identities.

We advocate for users through partnerships with product areas at Google (and some Alphabet businesses), supporting Google’s consumer products ecosystem and enabling numerous launches for Google’s consumer products each year.

In this role, you will manage a team of global vendors that support scaling efforts with a variety of cross-functional teams for a host of exciting new products / service offerings from Google.

You will use your project management skills and innovative thought process to recommend solutions that will help improve evolving workflows and prepare them for scaling.

We are looking for independent, solution-oriented candidates who know how to drive results.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in vendor or operations management
  • Experience in applying project management tools to problem solve
  • Experience working with global managed service providers in customer-facing sales or customer service roles.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience in managing contact center support operations
  • Experience in risk and change management.
  • Ability to manage complex programs across organizational structures while balancing the day-to-day tactical needs of the program
  • Manage financials, key metrics, and workflow allocation for global projects on vendor operations cutting across multiple geographies, suppliers, and platforms.
  • Work with teams to help streamline operations, manage operational excellence, and remove process redundancies.
  • Identify opportunities to transition slightly mature workflows to most appropriate locations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to ensure capacity planning is aligned with the volume forecasts and lead monthly governance forums with vendors on what is working well and what needs improvement.
  • Own and manage key initiatives / programs impacting global vendor operations.
