High Level Job Description / Scope :
The IT Operations Center serves to drive actions to improve reliability of IT Services, with a focus on Tier 0&1 services.
Join the team and help improve and protect the software and systems behind Chevrons IT services. You will have the opportunity to work with product line teams across the IT Function.
Responsibilities include management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity. You will use your technical expertise to monitor alerts and events, troubleshoot incidents and address remediation so delivery of solutions that are reliable, secure, cost efficient and responsive.
You will help lead continuous improvement of operational support; driving towards data driven, self-healing operations.
Responsibilities for Monitoring Automation and Assurance Infrastructure Analyst include :
Monitor alerts and events
Troubleshoot incidents and address remediation of issues
Lead continuous improvement of operational support
Automation of alerts and remediation processes
Participate in 24x7 shifting schedule
Active participation in a SAFe Agile environment
Work closely with other Agile Teams, Managed Service Providers and Vendors as necessary
Required Qualifications :
Technical Proficiency in the following areas :
Networking Operations / Engineering
Windows Operating System administration and security
System / Network monitoring
Service Now - ITOM and Operator Workspace
Experience in Azure Cloud
Working knowledge of scripting languages (Powershell, etc.)
Skills Proficiency in the following :
Ability to multitask to facilitate resolution of multiple incidents at any given time
Knowledge of Agile Framework methodology
Self-motivated and adaptable to learn
Demonstrated capability of learning new technologies and procedures particularly new services
from cloud providers
Strong knowledge of automation systems / networks / security configuration and deployment
Leadership and Communication Skills
Communicates clearly and tactfully
Exhibits strong oral and written communication skills including group presentation, facilitation and training
Self-motivated
Must be willing to teach and share all knowledge with team members and other operational teams
Demonstrated mentoring or coaching skills for knowledge transfer to team members
