SEM) is one of the key pillars of Make the Future which brings 10,000 Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) students (Tesla’s chief designer is an SEM alumni) together across the world to empower new generations to build a cleaner and more sustainable future.

The program covers student race events aimed at achieving the highest possible with their designed vehicles, virtual student competitions such as , , program, , virtual quizzes and virtual learning sessions with presenters such as NASA astronauts.

The main objective of SEM is to contribute to the Powering Progress strategy, by acting as a reason to believe’ to build Shell’s leadership position in the energy transition journey.

We do this by actively targeting Energy Engaged Consumers (EECs) with Shell Eco-marathon communication campaigns that position Shell as investing in curious young STEM students who will rise to become disruptors and leaders of our energy future.

Where You Fit In?

As part of the new Shell Eco-marathon marketing strategy that focuses on always on’ content calendar, and engaging social media activations, we need a new joiner to the team who can own the day to day account management activities of the communications department in the Shell Eco-marathon marketing team.

What is the Role?

Supporting senior communications, and strategy advisor on campaign management activities

Project managing multi-stakeholder campaign deliverables

Liaising with agencies to ensure timely delivery of agreed actions

Leading market alignment sessions on upcoming initiatives’ creative and media plans

Being the guardian of approval processes required for communications initiatives from legal, media relations, HSSE and brand identity teams

Ensuring that partner deals are actualised via communications initiatives

Managing the budget tracker to ensure that billing requirements in the scope of work (SoW) are delivered

Supporting team on creating presentations, executive summaries, setting up meetings as / when required

What We Need from You

At least 5 years’ experience ideally as an account manager

Can do’ attitude

Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment

High attention to detail

Exceptional project management and organisation skills

Have a solution orientated and collaborative approach to work
