Description

The master data Analyst is responsible in executing and fulfilling maintenance requests as per standard process and company policies.

He / She will the main point of contact of the region for all the vendor master data requests and the data steward for ensuring the highest quality of data maintained in the system.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance activities (additions, modifications, deletions, archiving) in accordance with the company's data management work processes and procedures.
  • Review all vendor requests and ensure all validation steps have been completed.
  • Assist manager in the overall governance of the master data creation and update to ensure consistency across the organization for all vendor master data.
  • Assist manager with the constant improvement in the quality and accuracy of the master data to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with the functional teams, region and global team to resolve vendor related master data issues that impact various business functions.
  • Ensures proper documentation of the process and any changes will be aligned with the global master data manager.
  • Responsible for the timely and proper escalation of incidents / issues / concerns to the team manager.
  • Responsible for providing root cause analysis on any issues related to master data.
  • Ensures timely execution of request; any breach on the SLA should be documented and updated on the SLA tracker.
  • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of any four-year course but preferably bachelor's degree holder of IT, Finance, and Engineering.
  • With background knowledge / experience of IT ERP systems and databases, preferably SAP.
  • With 2-3years experience in IT, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Order Management or commensurate experience in related functions.
  • Experience in master data management is preferred.
  • Experience working in a multinational set up is preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word);
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
