Community Banking Centralized Supervision (CBCS) is a Front Line Group Risk function responsible for providing required supervision within the Front Line Control Group committed to, and viewed as integral, by key stakeholders including external auditors, regulators, Independent Risk Management and WFAS.
About the Role
With respect to Resolution and Recovery Plan required inter-affiliate relationships the following tasks need to occur : lending rollovers, arms length transaction monitoring, liquidity monitoring, covenant compliance, credit underwriting, deal funding and legal agreements.
This role involves collection, analysis, summarization and presentation of the financial performance of a business. Professionals are required to provide analysis around business' profitability and financial condition in both short and long term.
Statutory reporting is the mandatory submission of financial and non-financial information to the government agency.
The reporting (multidimensional) is as per the Basel-II requirements.
The team should have a strong understanding of the legal books, Financial Statements - Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss accounts, experience in reporting.
This role can also include medium complexity research analysis related to financial governance and reporting. Experienced professional responsible for resolving 2nd level queries.
Responsible for performing tasks of moderate complexity as per specified standards with moderate supervision, typically involves some amount of independent decision-making.
Market Skills and Certifications
Candidates must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Must have at least 2 years of experience in accounting preferably in derivatives, capital markets, US Regulatory Reporting, US Financial Services and reconciliation / validation.
Must be proficient in creating reports in Excel, has the ability to maximize use of formulas and functions to streamline reporting needs.
Basic understanding of macros programming using VBA / Access is highly preferred.
Familiarity in portfolio or securities accounting such as securities, commodities, investment funds, derivatives and especially foreign exchange
Must have in-depth background in compiling and analyzing financial information in preparing entries to accounts, such as general ledgers and document business transactions.

Must be able to establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
