About the Opportunity
Serve as Electrical design discipline lead for the preparation of the design of HV / LV power systems, lighting and fire alarm systems for data center projects.
Strong knowledge on local code and designing of High Voltage & transmission system, High Voltage Sub-station and Back-
up Emergency Power Generation system.
Strong knowledge to on evaluation studies on energy optimization and saving
Designing large projects, preparing technical reports and specifications and undertaking technical investigation studies (i.
e. discrimination studies, arc flash hazard analyses, site selection and due diligence exercises).
Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers through the design stages of a project. Working with a remote resource team would be an advantage.
Participate in the QA / QC process in checking electrical design work.
Coordinate with other design disciplines such as Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Controls related with Electrical work.
Represent the Company at technical meetings and lead discussions on electrical engineering with Clients, Consultants and Contractors.
Prepare tender documents, evaluate, recommend and support the tender award.
Review and comment on Contractor RFIs, material submissions, shop drawings and support project & construction management teams.
8 years’ experience working in a design consultancy environmental.
Data Centre experience is essential.
Familiar with Local Power Bureau requirement for High Voltage system
3D Revit and AutoCAD experience.
Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
Ability to prioritize own workload and work to deadlines.
Experience with the technical requirements of Uptime, TIA and BICSI guidelines.
