ROHQ provides qualifying and shared services to countries in APAC, EMEA, LATAM / Mexico and NAM regions with over 2,500 employees supporting Enterprise Infrastructure, Consumer Operations & Technology (GCB O&T), Institutional Clients Group Operations & Technology (ICG O&T) and Global Functions such as Finance, Human Resource, Risk and ICRM.
CBPS provides voice and non-voice inbound and outbound operations for NAM, UK, Australia, Singapore and the Philippines with over 3,100 employees.
The APAC ICRM Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) Hub team centralizes the compliance review of initiatives with cross-border data transfer requirements related to data privacy, bank secrecy, data localization and outsourcing.
The Data Transfer Compliance Officer, acting on behalf of the APAC Country Compliance Officers, and following an agreed engagement model, provides support to and proactive engagement with initiative owners, including offering credible challenge, and timely and proactive escalation of issues and reporting, as appropriate, as initiatives progress through the CBDC clearance process.
The Data Transfer Compliance Officer reports directly to the Senior Data Transfer Compliance Officer and will work closely with the APAC Country Compliance Officers, the Chief Privacy Office (CPO), and other ICRM CBDC Hubs.
