The primary role of theMarket Conformity Control (MCC) team is to ensure that the market price, liquidity, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks arising from trades at non-

conforming prices are properly investigated. These risks can arise if a non-market conforming transaction is entered into for improper purposes, whether it be to conceal losses or overstate profits or for an employee’s personal gain.

A Market Conformity Controller is primarily responsible for producing relevant MI reports that are needed in the review and assessment of trades, whether transacted prices correspond to market price levels, within specified thresholds using pre-

determined methodologies. You will support in the investigations by providing necessary data using evidenced execution time, investigation in RMS for matching of spots to structure.

You will liaise with Middle Office for validation of trades.

You will ensure action plans and owners exist for resolution. You will also perform current state analysis and re-engineering of P&L processes onto strategic tools.

You will drive and coordinate strategic initiatives and engaging with multiple stakeholders across the globe. You are expected to be a change agent by maximizing efficiencies and enhancing control through process re-

engineering and work with onshore colleagues to ensure new products are rolled out in a controlled manner. You will act as a point for escalation and will manage a team on a day to day basis, including performance management and training, holiday cover and cross training.

You will be responsible in the management and oversight of the team.

Requirements

We are in need of a professional who is independent-minded, proactive, inquisitive, resourceful, and highly adaptable. A strong analytical, problem-

solving skills and sound judgment is essential to succeed in this role. A solid knowledge in financial markets products (Credit, Rates, FX, and Equities) is preferred.

Understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics and regulatory environment is also an advantage. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-

cultural setting with senior stakeholders across locations and a strong passion to perform in a dynamic fast-paced environment is highly advantageous.
