You will be responsible for preparing the technical bid documents and cost estimates for E-Houses. Reporting to the Tendering Manager, you will work in close cooperation with factories supplying the electrical equipment as well as ABB’s own project and engineering departments to define optimum solutions to be offered to our customers worldwide.
Understanding customer tender requirements on technical & commercial specification and translate into a techno-commercial proposal for local and international project tenders involving one or many EPCs.
Co-ordinating with third party vendors and internal ABB factories to obtain suitable technical and commercial quotations and evaluating them to meet with ABB overall standards and customer requirements.
Attending customer meetings on proposal / technical clarifications and providing full support to Sales team on all relevant issues.
Preparing and negotiating the final technical contractual documents and detailed and accurate Full Cost Model (FCM).
Co-ordinating between project stakeholders the project requirements and clarifications and facilitating challenge of individual discipline costs to achieve best technical and price solution.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Have at least 5 years’ experience as Proposal / Tendering Engineer with background as Electrical Engineer in similar industry.
Experience in working with international EPCs and international bids would be advantageous.
Proficiency in IT with good working knowledge of all relevant Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
Customer focused and ability to prioritize and co-ordinate several projects at once.
Ability to work in a multinational environment and within a matrix organization.
Excellent communication, coordination skills and experience in managing expectations.
