Part-Time Human Research Tech I

The Penn State Hershey College of Medicine is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to work on Project ECHO. This position will support aspects of multiple projects, including, but not limited to, participant outreach, recruitment, scheduling, data collection, data monitoring, and data entry.
Administrative duties will be primarily data entry and analysis, and coordinating e-learning sessions but may also include assisting with training, ordering supplies, helping participants with IT issues, tracking participants, and preparing mailings to participants and outreach sites.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with data, the IRB, Microsoft Office, and REDCap is preferred. Comfort working with different technologies is desired.
Applicants should possess very strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Strong applicants would enjoy working with people, have excellent time management skills, and work well in a team environment.
Some flexibility for early or late hours may be necessary on occasion. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
