The Role

Key responsibilities include :

  • Serve as a member of the Central Services team executing both pre-assigned and ad hoc tasks.
  • Utilize the request tracking system (JIRA), SharePoint, and other systems to fulfil requests submitted to Central Services within predetermined service levels.
  • Perform a variety of tasks such as data collection, data input, reporting, and quality review / auditing.
  • Provide coverage for other Central Services resources during absences or to handle overflow
  • Document and maintain Central Services processes as required.
  • Objectives

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of all deliverables
  • Ensure that process documents produced by Central Services are clear, concise, and easy to use
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional, virtual teams with members at all levels from different geographic areas
  • Contribute to the development of new approaches and quality standards related to Central Services Policies and Processes
  • Promote a positive workplace environment
  • The Requirements

  • 3 5 years of experience in an operations or administrative support role
  • Experience supporting billing, collections or other financial functions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience working with SharePoint would be beneficial
  • Capable of adapting to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change
  • Display a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirements
  • Ability to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge and skills
  • Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a virtual team
  • Experience documenting and implementing new processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively
