Description The Team Leader is the overall tactical leader of Appleton Sales and Operations Planning team resources in the Manila Supply Chain.

The Team Leader is considered as the conduit of projects between the business units and the team of analysts she handles.

The Team Leader is the escalation point for project issues that may be happening in Manila. The Appleton Sales and Operations Planning Team Leader is the training facilitator of the Analysts that belong in his / her team.

At the same time, the Team Leader is expected to spend 30-70% of his / her time, depending on team size and projects, mostly working on critical task and those that require a higher level of analysis.

A major responsibility of a Sales and Operations Planning Team Lead is to create, supervise projects that support Appleton Group business unit goals.

As such, he / she is responsible for the collection, organization, management, and analysis of diverse amount of data needed to develop and execute strategies for Appleton.

Also required to function as the identifier of savings opportunities and creation of business process improvements. Interfacing constant communication with other Business units’ contacts, corporate and other function within the company is a must. Responsibilities

  • Team oversight, can assign tasks, primary contact, identify opportunities, promote services, day to day management of the team
  • Personnel Development, Development of Subordinates, recruitment selection, appraisal, trainings coordination
  • Productivity Improvements leader and identifier for the group.
  • Strategic Partnership. Promote capabilities and services of Manila Supply Chain, and support synergy activities within the organizationOrganization Effectiveness.
  • Manage team’s performance, trainings and development needs. Main point of contact between team and business unit counterparts.

  • Operations Excellence. Manage and support Emerson initiatives. Maintain a high level of quality on existing support.
  • Creation of Sales and Operation templates, presentation slides, metrics and defining formal process to roll out globally to Appleton Group.
  • Responsible for data collections and develop reports that will support decision making process.

  • Lead and support Sales and Operations data analysis and coordination across the organization. Drive accuracy on Sales and Operation by ensuring clean set of master data, identifying and root out bias / hedging.
  • Perform detailed analysis of materials and production schedules.

  • Drive Sales and Operation Improvement by gathering and reporting process which captures performance of each facility.
  • Facilitate Sales and Operation process regular meetings. Reviews Sales and Operations outputs.
  • Recommends and coordinates allocations, schedules and activities. Creation of tools that will support data analysis.
  • Maintains Sales and Operation worksheet by plant and provide support to plants in analysis.
  • Utilize and Conducts Peer Assessment process by plants and gather feedback and analysis driving consistency of the Sales and Operation process
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities or projects assigned.
  • Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must have S&OP background and / or related experience.
  • Have in depth knowledge on procurement, supply chain, manufacturing.
  • Above average know-how on Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in project leadership role.
  • Well-developed analytical skills, innovative, and confident.
  • Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time and prioritize accordingly.
  • A strong team player and able to work with people from different levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Engineering, Business Management, or MBA graduate
  • Supervisory experience or similar capacity
  • Experience working with ERP tool and Oracle.
