Test Engineer for Power Module (M / F)

Test engineer dedicated to power module (M / F)
Main duties and responsibilities :
Conduct complete electrical characterization of various power electronics devices in discrete and power modules for new / existing products for the smooth and flawless transition to New Product Introduction.
Conduct characterization and product development of various experimental design layouts and process conditions during design and new product introduction to verify performance per electrical specifications and customer requirements.
Interface with customers to help define new products for characterization and general applications testing.
Work with design and simulation teams to characterize new designs / process and suggest new process experiments based on characterization data and define product characterization plan.
Act as primary feedback source to interdisciplinary teams for designs and process designs
Drive the development of necessary benches to evaluate all relevant performance requirement.
Analyze results of products for characterization and reliability.
Document all relevant product information specific to the performance and limitations of the device as future reference for application and customer support.
Provide datasheet performance limits based on design verification and characterization data.
Benchmark competitor products, specifications, die size and process optimization and manufacturing transfers.
Support product verification and advanced material selection.
Responsible for generating electrical models and data sheets for full design power modules.
Develops test plans from design specifications.
Publishes application notes to assist customers with application of iQXPRZ power products.
Interface with wafer suppliers.
Education, Experience and Professional Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering
A first successful experience in Product or Test Engineering, Characterization or Design Engineering or similar role in semiconductor / component manufacturing industry.
Experience in Thermal and Power cycling tests or similar characterization tests and creation of characteristics curves will be a plus.
Good understanding and knowledge in semiconductor devices.
In-depth knowledge in static and dynamic testing of power electronic devices (IGBT, MOSFET, Diode), new technologies like SiC, GaN or related products.
Familiar with quality standards and automotive requirements.
