Analyze and evaluate the needs and requirements of operations and customers before creating a design thru information gathering and consultations to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest solutions.
Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure information and instructions are correct in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Provide software / applications support when needed and resolve customer issues or problems within own level of authority and communicate or escalate with concerned parties (i.
e. immediate superior, manager, partner, customer, station, other department, regional contacts etc.) to resolve and expedite action / s.
Implement new applications and regional programs after obtaining user acceptance and in accordance with agreed lead times, specifications (proper set up and configuration) and proper coordination with users.
Perform direct revision, repair or expansion of existing programs and suggest system or procedural improvements / enhancements to increase operational efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Recommend and implement processes, policies and procedures that provides cost-saving benefits as well as contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the company.
Properly file, update, safe keep and preserve confidentiality of all pertinent documents / records / data (i.e. documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, instructions, etc.
