Job Overview

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the tactical media plan and its proper implementation, working to implement the brand’s overall media strategy in the context of changing marketplace conditions and opportunities.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Digital Director or Media Director of the Business Unit

In this role, your goals will be :

  • Demonstrate understanding of the client using data to gain insight on business challenges. You will also be up to speed with the competitor landscape for the client's industry.
  • Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day digital insight and activities. Begin to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges.
  • Day to Day Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop digital media strategy for agency clients, taking into account audience segments, online media trends and current digital ad formats.
  • Develop and manage digital media plans; negotiate and purchase media
  • Manage the day-to-day implementation, and optimization of campaign activities
  • Closely monitor campaigns and executions ensuring agreed KPIs are achieved or surpassed
  • Manage campaign authorizations, budgets, and reconciliation process
  • Interact and maintain rapport with digital media publishers
  • Analyze research data and media / marketing information; shares information with clients
  • Monitor and assess ongoing campaign performance; assist in strategic analysis of campaigns
  • Prepare client reports and other official documents
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications

    2-4 years experience in a digital media planning / buying position, including programmatic digital media planning and buying.

    At least two (2) years experience in handling digital media campaigns on Google and Facebook. This is a hard requirement - if you have no experience in digital media planning and buying, your application will be rejected.

  • Media agency experience optional but working knowledge of media planning required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical and number skills
  • Can communicate ideas to the team and to the client effectively
