The Front Office Solutions-OMS Service and Support Manila team functions as the primary support for both business and technical aspects of OMS application and database, offering monitoring and support services outside production hours, and offering support services during production & trading hours.

The candidate needs to engage with clients, OMS team and internal FactSet team to offer outstanding support services; a staple of what differentiates FactSet from its competitors and a vital component of the FactSet business model.

The Associate Client Support Engineer is expected to work closely with our implementation teams across the globe to offer technical support and implement solutions to satisfy the workflow needs of a client.

You will also encounter a great deal of client interaction, monitoring outside production hour tasks and offering trading hours support for the users.

An individual in this role is expected to gain significant knowledge of the technical and business aspects of the OMS and Compliance space within FactSet.

In addition to working directly with Clients, OMS Consultants and FactSet Specialists, the successful candidate will gain exposure to FactSet business practices, products, and infrastructure.

This offers the opportunity to further understand and learn technical tasks such as writing SQL and PowerShell scripts, using Microsoft server management and scheduling tools, SAP (Crystal Reports) as well as different types of financial instruments, markets, and practices.

Essential Job Functions Speak and write both clearly and fluently in English Become familiar with the FactSet Order Management and Compliance Solution and the current client base Learn the technical architecture of the system and the off-system production processes Learn and use scripting and scheduling tools including but not limited to Batch, PowerShell, SQL, SAP (Crystal Report) and Task Scheduler Monitor, identify and resolve issues in the off-system processes that support the application Deploy full installations of the systems and updates Respond to support queries from clients via email and phone Requirements for Position Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Mathematics, and equivalent courses.

Experience : Must have strong PC skills, excellent interpersonal skills, interest in finance, and a desire to learn. Desired Skills : Communication, previous coding, or programming experience, use of command line operating system, or background in working with databases (such as MySQL, Batch, PowerShell, and SAP).
