Role accountabilities :

  • Assist in the full end-to-end payroll for all current Australian employees, including casual fortnightly, permanent monthly and out of cycle payments
  • Assist with company legislative obligations such as Payroll Tax, and Superannuation reconciliations, lodgements, and payments
  • Provide support in the preparation and completion of End of Year payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Complete timesheet reconciliations and compliance checks, including timecard comparison across different systems to support internal processes
  • Assistance with payroll systems, configuration, and maintenance of employee records
  • Help maintain quality control across all payroll processes and ensure adequate and accurate record keeping is in place
  • Ensure prompt resolution and responses to employee and stakeholder queries
  • Proficient in providing advice based on current knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to payroll
  • Provide adequate backup to allow for absences of the payroll team, both planned and unforeseen
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis
  • Ensuring you are familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of work experience in similar field in a BPO or Shared Services environment.
  • Expertise in Payroll and Accounting Processing, Problem Solving including manual computation.
  • Knowledgeable on end to end payroll processing.
  • Preferably Experience in handling expat payroll with foreign currency component.
  • Good knowledge of Tax & compensation related laws and practices.
  • Experienced in Year-end tax annualization and Payroll Audit.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Applications particularly in Excel.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Can work under pressure and with great ability to multi-task
