Andworx is hiring a Business Process Manager who has experience gathering, documenting, and validating IT requirements in support of our Federal Government client within the DoD.

The BPM will leverage their strong business acumen and experience in business process mapping, reengineering, and workflows to deliver high quality support to our client.

As a candidate, you must be a motivated self-starter that has excellent communication and written skills as this role will directly interface with the customer, technical teams, and various stakeholders.

Work location is currently a combination of on-site and remote work within the Washington, DC Metro area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years of experience working as Business Analyst on large complex projects, preferably DoD.
  • Expertise in process mapping and business process reengineering with the demonstrated ability analyze business processes and workflows in depth.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups.
  • Experience utilizing strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in a business setting to clients.
  • 3 years' experience developing business requirements, customized reports and configuring workflows with a CRM platform, preferably a Grants Management System.
  • Experience developing SmartSimple GMS360 preferred.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft365 cloud is preferred.
  • Active Secret clearance : eligibility for this job requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Required Certifications

  • DoD 857001.M compliant IAM Level I certification (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP).
  • DoD 857001.M operating system certification for IAM Level I.
  • Responsibilities

    Our Business Process Manager will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our client's business processes by gathering data, validating business cases, and recommending and managing information collection and reporting improvements.

  • Work with stakeholders to document functional and non-functional IT requirements, including cost benefit analysis.
  • Provide detailed functional guidance to the technical team with business process diagrams and process documentation, and improvements to the requirement collection process.
  • Ensure seamless process integration with the IT and client project processes by :
  • Defining and tracking performance metrics.
  • Developing specific software requirements and develop custom reports.
  • Working closely with client's engineers and senior leadership to ensure requirement packages are complete and designed to be implemented in client software, as well as communication on upcoming IT requirements and work products.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop client requirements for application data layers and assist development team to streamline User Interface.
  • Develop grant and project reports to support business analytics for client leadership, and managers, while providing additional analytical support as requested.
  • Perform the role of Executive Secretary to the Enterprise Change Control Board (ECCB), including package presentation, requirements development, agenda design, and tracking of ECCB items in between meetings.
