Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of an international nutritional company. They are looking for an experienced candidate for the role of Finance Supervisor, whose role will be focusing on the consolidation of reports, monitoring of payables and receivables, handling financial statements and willing to work the extra mile.
The job is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.
The Finance Supervisor will oversee the audit process with internal and external auditors. They will work with local departments to gather and submit information for timely completion of audits.
Job responsibilities :
Supervise financial and accounting processes and ensure adherence to company Policies and Guidelines
Manage account payables and receivable activities in a timely manner.
To ensure the books of accounts and records are maintained properly, accurately and reported timely
Responsible for the preparation and filing of all statutory, tax and accounting reports per local statutory and tax requirements
Perform account reconciliation activities on periodic basis.
Perform financial audit and prepare audit reports with recommendations to Finance Manager.
Address financial issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.
Supervise three finance staff, including hire, job assignment, supporting their development and performance assessment
Must be responsive to requests of all departments and regional office
Monitoring of Financial Statements including P&L, Balance Sheets and more
Design, document and implement sound internal controls, accounting policies and procedures for financial and operation areas
Oversee timely and accurate completion of all month-end closing responsibilities in accordance with corporate closing calendars.
Preapare detailed and analytical reports on a regular / monthly basis
Job requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
Must have more than 3 years’ experience in an accounting / finance Supervisor position
CPA or Chartered Accountant Designation
Strong local accounting and tax knowledge, familiar with GAAP
Good knowledge in SOX
Computer literate with strong MS Excel and Accounting Software skills
Experience with ERP system such as Oracle or SAP is a big plus
Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
Proven organization, leadership and interpersonal skills
Good time management
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
