Job Title : HR Training Management Specialist

Basic salary : ₱ 37,828

Post Context :

Manila HealthTek Inc. (MTek Inc.) is a private Research & Development company with a robust diagnostic technology pipeline.

It developes and manufactures portable diagnostic kits for the diagnosis of selected infectious disease in the Philippines and in the region.

The Human Resources Department manages and executes all human resource related activities. Coordinates and prepares organisational and manpower documentation delineating departmental functional responsibilities and required skill levels to execute and achieve Company goals and objectives.

Defines and coordinates with departments and Finance on manpower needs. Prepares and coordinates HR policy and implementing procedures.

Manages recruitment activities. Defines and implements employee training and development programs. Manages personel administration and coordinates with Finance on welfare / benefits, payroll and salary administration.

Conducts employee performance appraisal. Manages the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Manages and maintains all personnel records.

Coordinates with Finance on HR budget-related requirements. Prepares and provides HR-related training to Departments / supervisors.

Prepares reports on a widerange of HR topics for top-level management. Training management manages training requirements for employees.

Develops and manages the Company training manual based on job description requirements / manpower identified traing requirements.

Coordinates, prepares and submits HR training budget inputs for submission to Finance. Identifies internal and external and level of training required.

Schedules training courses for mobile training teams for training at the Company premises. Coordinates with Finance on contracting for external training courses.

Administers and updates personnel training records with copies of internal OJT certificates from departments and external providers.

The training management specialist performs a wide variety of training management functions and is responsible for the development and accuracy of the MTek Training Manual and arranging external courses and mobile training teams to execute training delivery.

The successful candidate will possess the following :

Personal Attributes / Competencies :

  • The incumbent must possess a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and a strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and very good organisational skills ae essential.
  • The incumbent must be methodical and accurate in all aspects of training development and planning and be able to prepare draft documentation and recommendations for review.
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of MS Office products especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Must be able to prepare training management related documentation including an organizational manual of training.
  • Must be able to prepare, formulate and summarise training statistical data.
  • Must be articulate and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The incumbent will be forward thinking and self-motivated requiring little to no guidance on task accomplishment. Reliability and the ability to get the job done effectively and efficiently is paramount.
  • The incumbent will be expected to work with minimum supervision, only referring the most difficult problems to the Director for advice.
  • Honesty and reliability are core competencies of the incumbent.
  • Experience :

  • A minimum of at least 5 years current related experience in human resource training management or equivalent field.
  • Very good knowledge of organization training methodologies combined with a very good understanding of course / syllabus development, training delivery and assessment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel combined with very good knowledge of Access, Word and Power Point.
  • Excellent knowledge and demonstrated experience in the development of training related documentation.
  • Very good interpersonal skills and analytical ability to coordinated with organizational personnel on training needs, methodology and assessment.
  • Must be self-motivating with get go personality to get the job done with little guidance and only referring the most complex of issues to the Head of HR for guidance.
  • Flexibility, iniative and reliability are an absolute necessity.
  • Education / Training :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration or equivalent.
  • Vocational training in any training management related field.
  • The following is considered highly desirable :

  • Professional / Experience. More than 5 years current related experience in human resource training management or equivalent field.
  • prior Experience in teaching adult learners would be advantageous.

  • Education / Training. Higher vocational training or equivalent in training development, planning and executionany.
