CoDev is looking for an Automation QA Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Analyze the testing needs and develop an automated testing solution by analyzing the test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Create and / or modify written test procedures, test cases, test logs, and other test-related artifacts using approved processes and software tools
Develop modular and robust automated test scripts for GUI, API, and back-end validations, by utilizing objects, exception handling, and other advanced automation techniques
Perform and support automated testing activities using all the appropriate tools and techniques, such as functional and regression
Design, and execute SQL statements for database manipulation and querying · Manage defects in compliance with the established defects management process and using tools such as Jira
Communicate results of automated testing efforts to management through the creation of reports, summaries, and logs
Install and configure software and test environments in preparation for test execution
Participation in test planning meetings and providing feedback to the testing team.
Must have :
Experience using RESTful API, Postman, Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, Jira, Maven, Page Object Model (POM), JSON, Cucumber, JUnit
3+ years of QA experience in automation for products or systems on Windows and Linux environments
3+ years’ experience in developing automation test cases using the following programming languages and tools : Java, and PowerShell
Knowledge of the QA process, and testing disciplines and methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of automation testing experience in web applications and responsive design automation
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Excellent technical depth and troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
