Senior IT Business Implementation Analyst The Senior IT Business Implementation Analyst is responsible for building the business case, and identifying success metrics for projects. This person will drive cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to lead the definition and delivery of a broad spectrum of reengineering projects. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and has implemented complex, global business process initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Elicit and gather requirements and use cases for proof-of-concept and approved initiatives. Testing and validation of the requirements vs what the developers implemented.
  • Deeply understand the needs of key internal customers through quantitative and qualitative research. Work with developers, PMs, analysts, architects, and QA staff to ensure that they fully understand the requirements
  • Participate in developing the overall design and implementation of custom structures, codes, searches and reports. Provide functional design, current and future state flows, testing approach, and impact analysis.
  • Serve as a key consultant for stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with leadership, business, and technical team members to understand objectives and expectations. Put the team in touch with the right people and stakeholders. Represent the team in global meetings.
  • Manage team backlog and prioritize product enhancements and critical requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
  • Collaborate with team members and process owners to deliver great products and tools. Ensure all solutions achieve the defined business objectives and success metrics. Provide analytical support for implemented projects.
  • Support audit activities and ACLs function. Will be expected to facilitate the quarterly role audit. Will provide evidence to the auditors, follow up with role owners for approval and ensure that the process is followed. Will be expected to make unique, complex decisions about granting of roles. Own change management for ongoing technology initiatives.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 or more years technical product management, product development, or technical professional services experience. A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes.
  • Familiarity with general programming languages, design patterns, and related concepts. Experience building web-based applications is preferred. Experience with metadata driven architecture or role-based access control is a plus.
  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently and make convincing arguments for the direction of the products.
  • Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk identification and mitigation. Experience working with project management methodology. Ability to proactively contribute to multiple projects simultaneously. Intimate knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user experience.
  • Verifiable change management background, including business prioritization, workflow diagrams, and system capabilities. Experience working with delivery assurance policies, procedures, and principles to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent communication. A track record of successfully working with a combination of local and remote development, QA, and technical writing team to deliver quality products. Experience working with remote teams is critical to success
  • Computer Science or similar degree.

    Assists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

    As part of a software project implementation team, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user needs. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business specifications. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

    Job duties are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. May have project lead role. Prefer 5 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
