The office in Cebu, Philippines is responsible for medical record processing operations RNs, Medical Technologists, Pharmacists and Collections Agents who work with a wide-range of medical records, creating usable databases and beautiful timelines.

In addition, the Cebu office is a new tech startup office with its own challenges and opportunities the ones we feel are best addressed by a strong, local team.

Job Brief

We are looking for Medical Record Retrieval Representatives who will procure selective medical records on behalf of our patients to ensure continuity of care.

The candidates must be great at making outbound calls to medical service providers and have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate must be able to work night shifts to mirror provider hours in the US.


  • Communicate with medical service providers by email, fax or phone to request for our patients’ medical records
  • Check all received records for completeness and accuracy and organize them through the PicnicHealth internal app
  • Complete all assigned and pending tasks according target turnaround times of the department
  • Maintain utmost security and secrecy on the handling of medical records
  • Be adept at using computer equipment, mobile and web apps that are critical to efficient and effective medical data management
  • Requirements

  • Wired internet connection with at least 10 MBPS download speed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of BPO experience from a US Healthcare account (i.e., provider / payer call center, member services, pharmacy help desk, clinical processes, electronic medical records, etc.)
  • Fresh graduates of any Bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum of 2 years in College (Senior High graduate) with call center experience
  • Medical education or experience is an advantage
  • Clinical knowledge of medical records, labs, procedures, and medical terminology is a plus
  • Willing to train or work on site
  • Must be from Cebu City and nearby cities
