We are looking for an experienced Director of New Verticals to lead our journey into expanding into new businesses. This is a high-visibility role and the right person will require a strong entrepreneurial drive, experience managing a team and the ability to scale the business fast.
You will set ambitious targets and build a high-performing organization to achieve strong growth.
Ownership of P&L for a new business : drive top line revenues while optimizing bottom line expenses.
Recruit, onboard and coach a high-performing team to achieve ambitious targets.
Plan and manage a successful launch, ensuring all aspects of the launch are well executed.
Drive the Commercial team to actively reach out to key suppliers, negotiate great deals and maintain a strong, ongoing relationship.
Drive the Operational team to ensure speed, efficiency, and scalability of Ops processes.
Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Keep a close eye on commercial, operational and financial KPIs; step in when certain metrics need improvement.
Liaise closely with regional teams and with other countries to understand best practices and tailor them to local needs.
Prior experience in starting a business from scratch and managing a P&L is a strong asset.
General Management experience - understanding the basics of all functions, especially operations and commercials.
Very high level of ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
Stakeholder Management - work with local & regional leadership to align on priorities and highlight bottlenecks.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Outstanding communication and people skills.
Prior experience in FMCG / Groceries not a must, but highly preferred.
