You are great at :
Designated point person and accountable for applying the payments to the customer accounts, accurately and timely
Take the lead in identifying and resolving exception transactions and prepare or assist in corrections to resolve all errors and exceptions.
Responds to customer’s payment inquiries through prompt analysis and resolution
Posting of daily cash receipts.
Resolve internal and external customer account inquiries regarding cash applications.
Place phone calls to banks, customers to determine reason for deductions when they are not stated.
Assume supervisory function during planned and unplanned absences of the Supervisor
Distribute unapplied cash documentation / items to collectors
Identify over / underpayments and forward / distribute to appropriate collector.
Work with Manager for daily / weekly / monthly AR Reconciliation to ensure an accurate month-end close.
Research historical cash application activity when needed.
Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the team and other departments
Provides guidance and direction to Intermediate team members to assist in providing pertinent documents and reports needed in resolving variances and answering complex inquiries
Provide decisions / solutions to issues, routine and non-routine
Job Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
Required skill(s) : MS Office. SAP. Oracle. NetSuite
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in B2B collections is preferred
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, with good attention to detail and follow up.
Proficiency in MS Office is required.
Proficiency in SAP is required
Preferably with analytics background, but not required
