What this job involves :

Data quality and safety

Data safety is a top priority for any business in today’s tech-savvy world, and as a Service Analyst, ensuring the security of company data will be your primary responsibility.

This will involve a thorough understanding of the firm’s data needs, as well as compliance of data governance, policies and procedures.

Concurrently, it will need you to initiate discovery processes on new features and functionalities, version and service upgrades of our data platform.

Participation in professional and personal development programs will be part of your job to keep your knowledge updated.

Risk mitigation

A large part of your time will go in performing tests and solutions to meet account requirements, or in addressing and resolving issues and gaps on the Account System Configuration.

Service teams, clients and other stakeholders will depend on you for multiple kinds of technical support. On top of all this, management of critical incidents and their escalation will form another major part of your role, as you provide user support to all active accounts within your region.

Auditing and sharing knowledge

Your overall supervision will be crucial, as you audit the impact of database changes on businesses. It will involve extracting live data, ensuring platform availability and efficiency, and analyzing and recommending configurations to meet client requirements and industry specifications.

While you work closely with teams for data updates and designs, as a subject matter expert, you also document user guides, process maps and manuals so wider teams can leverage that information.

Technical knowledge

As it is a technical role, a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or related field is the minimum qualification that you must have.

Advance skills certification will confirm your capabilities to function as a data administrator. Moreover, your inquisitive and technically curious bent of mind will help you excel on the job.

Analytical mind

Handling a senior role requires vast knowledge and industry experience. Your expertise in managing a helpdesk or service delivery platform will confirm your client-centric approach.

Furthermore, strong analytical skills and a technical problem-solving approach will help you provide quick resolutions to immediate issues.
