Key contributor in managing projects of varied extent and size, including but not limited to, program launch, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

The role leads project teams for internal and external initiatives, interfacing, developing, and managing strong working relationships with business units and external parties in the completion of project milestones and successful achievement of objectives.

Although the role doesn’t usually need to perform the hands-on tasks involved in a project, he / she oversees different initiatives or projects of a business unit, monitors their progress and completion, and ensures that they meet the expectations of the clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises execution and ensure successful delivery of the tasks and assignments of the project members.
  • Establishes and manages effective communication plan within the project team, members, and clients including department heads and members up to senior management and executives.
  • Submits project deliverables and ensuring that quality standards are adhered to.
  • Prepares reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information about status, schedule, budget, process, system, etc.
  • Coordinates the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
  • Manages client expectation or satisfaction within the project transition period
  • Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Full project life cycle ownership : successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Conducts post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements to perform post-mortem data analytics and visualization, and create solution-driven recommendations
  • Leverages analytics and reports to determine effectiveness and seek continuous improvements
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
  • Coordinates the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
  • Collaborate across the company to help assess and prioritize M / A transactions to best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives
  • Participate in and lead certain aspects of transaction execution including project management, due diligence and valuation.
  • Work closely with business teams, internal functional experts eg. legal, accounting, HR, etc., and outside advisors to support execution

  • Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Business management-related bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of equivalent experience
  • Preferably major in Business Administration or Business Management
  • At least 3 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
  • At least 3 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fluency in Filipino and English
  • Enthusiastic team-player personality with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Strong working knowledge of :
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.)
  • Google Applications (Forms, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
  • E-mail Applications (Outlook and Google)
  • Project Management Software or Applications (Asana, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and task-prioritization skills
  • Design and critical thinking and ability to devise creative problem-solving strategies
  • Experience in communicating policies, procedures, and complex concepts to a wide variety of skill and interest levels
  • Ability to lead a team of diverse professional backgrounds (from rookie to highly experienced), deliver and manage projects or programs timely and minimal intervention
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Risk assessment, analysis, and management to minimize project risks
